Musical
Theatre is a combination of dialogue, drama, acting, dancing, and singing.
There is an increasing need for kids trained in these areas. The Kids musical theater class NYC allows
students to become well rounded in their dance by learning adjunct skills to
improve their overall performance and style. Musical Theatre NYC will focus on
classical jazz technique, facial expression, and showmanship, with an
introduction to voice coaching training. For triple threats in the making, the
musical theatre class will hone performance skills while providing instruction
in self-confidence, voice, acting, and dance. Kids will also learn song; drama
and dance routines set to numbers from the popular musical theater for NYC kids
productions.
If you want
to your kids learn singing, drama, dancing, and acting in the tradition of
great musicals theatre, this is the musical
theater school for your kids. Students will also receive instruction in
voice, acting, and dancing to song and performances inspired by Musical Theatre
in NYC. Special attention will be paid to best performance skills, lyrical
talent, and song interpretation.
This
process-based theatre class takes the performers from audition to performance.
Each class of the theater in NYC will be treated as a rehearsal and will
incorporate acting, singing, and dancing. Each student will receive a role and
the theatre class will culminate in a final in-studio performance. The
opportunity of summer program advisory and prep is aimed at the rising high
school Junior or senior and will incorporate up to 10 hours worth of private
one-on-one sessions based entirely around the schedule of the kids. Theater classes for kids of
NYC will put together a spreadsheet of schools, their respective musical
academic and audition requirements, pre-screen requirements/deadlines,
application fees/deadlines, etc. The
Shufflesnyc classes will then spend time coaching your material to make sure
you are prepared and talking wardrobe so you are feeling like your best
self. This can be such a perfect arduous
and daunting process. It can be really
helpful to have someone who recently went through it for your kids helping to
guide you.
